It has been a year since I stopped smoking and I am having a hard time losing weight. I have tried several things to loose the weight and have not been successful. Can you please help me. I have also been walking some.

Hi Debbie

It's not unusual to put on about 15 lbs. once smoking cessation has begun.

When I quit, I practiced my Phase I phase and was pretty strict with myself. Getting the cravings under control is important and there is a correlation between smoking and a sugar addiction.

500-1000 mg. of glutamine 3 x a day can help with getting sugar cravings under control.
