Veggie shake on restricted plan

Hi Misty,

I have been following your restricted plan for about 2 weeks now, I've lost 5 lbs. & feel great!
Thank you very much.

The crazy thing I miss the most is my Fawn inspired shake.

My shake included 3-4 large kale or chard leaves, 1 scoop Jay Robb vanilla protein powder, 1/8 cup flax seed meal, 1 scoop Amazing Grass Green Super food berry flavor, 1/4 cup full fat greek yogurt 1/3 cup frozen blueberries & 1 pump banana Da Vincis.

I'm not a good veggie eater, so this is how I get most of my veg.

This shake was usually my lunch but sometimes a snack on very hungry days.

I think this put me in a mini stall folowing Atkins.

What tweaks would you reccomend to my recipe?

Hi Kelley!

Congratulations on your 5lb. weight loss! That's awesome.

My first piece of advice is, if you're happy with where you're at in your losing phase, keep up the momentum! If you need help adding vegetables, my best first piece of advice is a nice vegetable soup with a homemade broth. Experiment with other veggies and butter or bacon drippings and crumbled bacon.

It is true that some cannot lose with liquid meals. It can spike insulin because of how quickly the pre-digested meal hits the blood stream.

If you simply cannot do without your smoothie, maybe half the amount with a meal you chew would be helpful.
