Strawberry Nut Smoothie

A strawberry nut smoothie is a refreshing treat or high protein breakfast. 

The added benefit comes from walnuts, a power packed brain food. Have you ever noticed how a walnut can resemble that of a human brain? 

This is no coincidence!  The walnut contains an abundance of Omega 3 fatty acids in plant form which can help with brain function. 

Don't go overboard on the walnuts though!  They do have their fair share of Omega 6 fatty acids as well. 


Ingredients:

  • 1 cup full fat yogurt, coconut or almond milk, chilled
  • ¼ cup walnut pieces
  • ½ cup frozen strawberries
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • Directions:
