Mocha Smoothie

The mocha smoothie can serve as both your breakfast and a caffeine kick. 

The secret ingredient in this recipe is an instant espresso that I love to pack when I travel. 

I discovered this special smoothie while traveling one time.  I generally like to get a room with a small kitchen and do a little shopping myself to ease the dependence of eating out and being forced to consume low quality food.

While blending a quick protein boost with my coconut milk, I looked over at my beloved little jar and had a "mocha epiphany". 

I hope you enjoy the smoothie and the "kick" as much as I do!


  • 1 cup coconut or almond milk, chilled
  • 1 scoop chocolate whey protein powder
  • 1 tbs. Medaglia D'Oro Instant Espresso Coffee
  • ½ cup ice

  • Directions:

    Blend and serve!
