Misty, here is my kale recipe

Hi Misty, here is a recipe that allows you to have your cake and it too...raw. I am one person who admits to not liking raw vegetables unless they are the standard salad veggies.
I learned about the enzymatic action of raw foods and after our discussion, I became determined to use more of these foods in my diet. I began using a little bit of raw dairy, raw almonds etc.
Today I bought some lacinta kale for lunch. I wanted to eat it raw without giving up the satisfaction of eating a cooked veggie. So I made a hot dressing to go over my lacinta kale salad. Here is the recipe.
Before preparing the raw vegetables, cook 2 slices of bacon, then:
- 1-2 leaves a lacinta kale, chopped
- 1/2 sliced avocado
- 1 slice of onion (separate the sections)
Mix the salad and set aside.
Dressing: When bacon is done cooking, drain the drippings into a cup or bowl.Dice the bacon and put on the raw veggies. Whisk in an equal amount of real sour cream that has been warmed on the stove in a sauce pan, and 1-2 tablespoons of rice vinegar, then generously spoon the mixture over the vegetables.
This salad is good, nutritious and filling on its own although I had it with a couple of leftover low carb pork ribs.
