Jalapeno Popper Burger


  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 4 Oz. Cream Cheese
  • 1/3 Cup Chopped, seeded Jalapeno Peppers
  • Romaine Lettuce
  • 4 Slices Jack Cheese
  • One Large Avocado
  • 1/2 Tsp. Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp. Sea Salt
  • 1/4 Tsp. Black Pepper


In a small bowl, combine cream cheese, chopped jalapenos, and seasonings mix together and set aside.

You want to make 8 patties with the one pound of ground beef. 4 bottoms, 4 tops. On 4 burger patties, scoop equal amounts of cream cheese mixture, add the burger top and press all sides together.

Place on a medium high grill and BBQ for 5-7 minutes on each side. Do not press with a spatula or cheese mixture will ooze out! Right before you remove from grill add a slice of cheese.

Remove, top with tomato, lettuce and avocado and enjoy!

This is a Phase I Liberal and Phase II recipe.  Omit the cheese and it becomes a Phase I Restricted.
