Irritable Bowel Syndrome Symptoms

What Is Irritable Bowel Syndrome?

IBS or Irritable Bowel Syndrome is becoming a common condition. Irritable Bowel Syndrome symptoms affect nearly 30% of Americans today with such pain, one is afraid to eat.

8 out of 10 of my clients suffer varying levels of IBS. I have had great success normalizing these clients within about 6 months when they follow the protocol properly. This is great news for you because I have studied the sites and the advice would throw my clients into crippling pain.

Although irritable bowel syndrome is now the standard term, there are many other names for this group of symptoms including:

  • Spastic Colon
  • Mucous Colitis
  • Gastric Colitis
  • Nervous Indigestion
  • Intestinal Neurosis

Basically, Irritable Bowel Syndrome Symptoms are caused by some sort of an imbalance in the digestive tract. It is said that there are 5 fundamental causes of IBS and they include:

  • Diet
  • A diet high in refined carbohydrate, Glutenous Grains, lectins, soy and a lack of health promoting bacteria.

  • Poor Stress Coping Mechanism
  • We carry so much stress these days and this triggers nervous system reactions that contribute to IBS. The digestion remember is referred to as the second brain.

  • Chronic Infections of the Digestive Tract
  • Candida, Parasites and Bacteria

  • Poorly Functioning Digestive Organs
  • Dysbiosis where there is a deficiency of good bacteria that are involved with digestion and detoxification. (Think Antibiotic and other Rx use)

  • Stuctural Abnormality
  • This, being the least common but a visit to the chiropractor is wise as spinal misalignments for example impair nerve flow to the digestive tract.

    • Diarhhea
    • Alternating Constipation and Diarrhea
    • Mucus in Stools

    • Mental "Fog"
    • Frequent Urination
    • Painful Sexual Intercourse

While many of these symptoms can mimic Candida, as well, Gluten Intolerance, the only sure fire way to determine your ailment is through that of testing via blood, saliva and urine testing.

Unfortuantely, mainstream recommendations can only make your symptoms worse. I have had some great success with my IBS protocol with various clients.
