Hi Colleen

I haven't addressed Forks Over Knives. I have seen the film though.

The movie Forks Over Knives has impacted many lives. It is for the most part a film that should raise consciousness with individuals most particularly those suffering disease.

However, do keep in mind that it is based on The China Study which is simply a correlative study and not that of true science.

I have two well respected individuals whom I follow who have addressed this study.

Both agree that there is a great deal of mis-information.

"Thanks to T. Colin Campbell's The China Study, we have been falsely led to believe that animal protein is dangerous. I refer you to both Denise Minger and Chris Masterjohn'scritique of this controversial subject."

Another point I would like to make which is addressed by both Chris and Denise that the average person may not see due to the polarization of the film;

When we remove the inflammatory vegetable oils, refined sugar and flour from the human diet, we increasingly garner elevated health in a variety of ways.

Reduced triglycerides, reduced inflammation, elevated HDL, and reduced blood pressure.

Do keep in mind that quite a few of my references on this site have either pointed to or produced some compelling true science. A few of them are cardiologists and yes, reversing heart disease with a low carb lifestyle.

My point? There are a few ways to "skin a cat" as they say but which offers optimum health and protection?

I would say the one we've been practicing for more than 2 million years and it isn't a vegetarian lifestyle rather a hunter, gatherer lifestyle.

Consume with consciousness, make sure your food is raised and grown sustainably, reduce to eliminate your intake of refined foods and vegetable oils and you're in good shape!

Blood sugar regulation and Omega balance are our dictators of good health.

In good health

Don't fight the facts
by: Karen

I am not a doctor or healthcare professional but worked in corporate health care field 50 years.

I had 19 nursing homes I was responsible for and watched people dying daily.

They kept getting younger and younger, most lived fat lifestyles before they got sick and died.

I watched Forks over knives when my doctor told me to.

I am sure every bit of information is not perfect but the ides is better than the health care professionals have come up with in the 70 years I have been alive.

Will it hurt you no, will it kill you no, will it change you ABSOLUTELY.
