Hello Sandra
Thank you for your questions. Processed sausages and lunch meats are in fact approved foods for a lower carbohydrate lifestyle.

However, I always like to promote the least amount of lunch meats and processed sausages as we can.

If you can find some nice ground sausage that is organic, that's my best advice.

2-3 oz. of a nice cheese should be sufficient for the average day. If you go over and it saved your plan? No worries!! Enjoy it.....

I'm currently enjoying a bit of Hoda Gouda, a 5 year aged cheese here and there. The vitamin k is beneficial in bone formation as well, keeps the arteries fluid so enjoy!

In good health
