Creamy Green Chili Soup

  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese

  • 2 ( 7 oz) cans green chilies (not jalapenos!)

  • 1 (7 oz) can or jar green salsa

  • 1-2 chipotle peppers (optional)

  • 1 (14oz) can chicken broth

  • 12 oz heavy cream or 1 can coconut milk


Process cream cheese, green chilies, chipotle pepper if using and salsa in blender or food processor until smooth.

Pour into saucepan.

Add chicken broth and cream and heat.
