Hi Misty ~ I am starting the restricted program today and I am curious as to whether unsweetened cocoa is a part of this diet?

I certainly can do without it, but I do like to make hot chocolate with just water and stevia - sometimes just for an afternoon treat. Thank you and I am looking forward to a new, healthy and pain-free life!

Hi Shon
Thank you for reading and following! I find the restricted Phase I to be the best plan for management of pain, symptoms of auto-immune, quick weight loss and hormone reset.

Cocoa is a great addition to any diet as long as you aren't over using it with sweeteners and dairy.

Your cup of cocoa sounds divine so enjoy those antioxidants!

Thanks, Misty! I am going to re-introduce the cup of cocoa tomorrow and see how my body responds. I have been following this plan for only 5 days and am already beginning to feel so much better!

I just want to feel good and healthy again. I can't believe that all this time, most of my symptoms might have been due to diet.

I thought I always ate healthfully - cook all our meals from scratch and rarely go out. Apparently, all the "healthy grains", dairy and sugar have been wreaking havoc on my body. I'm starting to feel liberated in a sense - giving up dairy has been the most difficult though. However, if feeling this good continues to progress, I'm all for it.

I've discovered unsweetened milk and it is a God-send and a great appetite killer!

Thank you so much for this blog and the opportunity to ask questions!
