Chocolate Avocado Smoothie

I love avocado and chocolate so a chocolate avocado smoothie makes perfect sense to me! 

Many might be surprised to know that there is not one hint of "avocado taste" in this creamy smoothie. 

This smoothie not only hits the spot but has staying power for the first half of your day. 

Packed with monounsaturated fats, fiber and antioxidants, this is a smoothie that the whole family can enjoy. 

  • ½ cup almond or coconut milk, chilled
  • 2 tbs. unsweetened cocoa or 1 tbs. chocolate whey protein powder
  • ½ ripe avocado
  • 1 tsp. xylitol, 1 tbs. honey or 4-6 drops NuNaturals Nustevia (depends on your plan)
  • (If you use Protein Powder, cut the sweetener in half. You may not need sweetener at all)
  • ½ cup ice

Blend and serve!
